Instructions for Manuscript Submission

Correspondences and Inquiries:
Address all correspondences and inquiries to the Chief Editor. Authors are asked to submit manuscripts as electronic files. The formatting requirements for electronic manuscripts are as follows:
a) Use MS Word 2013 or latest, double-spaced, 12 pt Times New Roman.
b) Use Indonesian or U.S. English as the language. The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English if the manuscript is written in Indonesian.
c) Indent or include spacing between all paragraphs.
d) Use the metric system throughout.
e) Avoid footnotes in the text; instead, incorporate them directly into the text.

The manuscript should be organized in the following order, with new sections beginning on new pages. Three or more reviewers will be provided, with at least two from different universities than those of the authors.

Title:
The title must be brief, informative, and clearly indicate the main point(s) of the paper, with a maximum of 12-15 words.

Author’s Name(s):
The author’s name(s) should be complete but without any titles. Include the author’s affiliation and address. The corresponding author must provide and use a unique email address, not shared with other authors or departments.

Abstract:
A concise and factual abstract is required. It should briefly state the purpose of the research, the principal results, and the major conclusions. Since the abstract may be presented separately from the article, it must be able to stand alone. References should be avoided in the abstract, but if essential, cite the author(s) and year(s). Non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should also be avoided unless they are defined upon first mention in the abstract. The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must be written in a single paragraph in both Indonesian and English.

Keywords:
Keywords (3-5) should be provided below the abstract to assist in electronic searches.

Introduction:
The introduction should include:
- The background of the study
- The aims
- A summary of the existing literature
- The rationale for the study

Methods:
The methods section should include:
- The aim, design, and setting of the study
- The characteristics of participants or a description of materials
- A clear description of all processes and methodologies used. Generic names should generally be used; when proprietary brands are involved, include the brand names in parentheses
- The type of statistical analysis used, including a power calculation if appropriate
- For studies involving human participants, data, tissues, or animals, a statement on ethics approval and consent must be included

Results and Discussion:
This section should present the findings of the study, including statistical analysis results, either in the text or as tables and figures. The discussion should address the implications of the findings in the context of existing research and highlight any limitations of the study.

Conclusion:
The conclusion should clearly state the main findings and discuss the importance and relevance of the study to the field. It should be written in a single paragraph.

Acknowledgments:
Acknowledge anyone who contributed to the article but does not meet the criteria for authorship, including those who provided professional writing services or materials. Authors should obtain permission from all those mentioned in the acknowledgments.

References:

Citation in Text:
Ensure that every reference cited in the text is included in the reference list (and vice versa). Unpublished results and personal communications are not recommended. Citing a reference as "in press" implies that it has been accepted for publication.

Web References:
Provide the full URL and the date the reference was last accessed. If available, include additional details like the DOI, author names, dates, and reference to a source publication. Web references can be listed in the reference section.

Example: AOAC. (2002). *Guidelines for Single Laboratory Validation of Chemical Methods for Dietary Supplements and Botanicals*. AOAC International, 1-38.

Reference Management Software:
Users of Mendeley Desktop can install the reference style for this journal by clicking the following link: [http://csl.mendeley.com/searchByName/?style](http://csl.mendeley.com/searchByName/?style). When preparing your manuscript, you can select this style using the Mendeley plug-ins for Microsoft Word or LibreOffice. The number of references should range between 15 and 25. Ensure that the spelling of authors’ names and dates in the text matches those in the reference list.

Mathematics:
Use italics for variables, bold for vectors and matrices, script for transforms, and sans-serif for tensors. Superscripts and subscripts should be in superior or inferior positions; avoid using raised or lowered fonts.

Tables:
Submit tables as editable text, not as images. Each table must have a title, and all columns must have headings clearly related to the data below them. Use superscript lowercase letters for footnotes. Every table should be cited in the text and placed near the relevant text. Number tables consecutively according to their appearance in the text and place any table notes below the table body. Avoid using vertical rules and shading in table cells.

Figures:
Submit figures as editable graphs, not as images. Cite each figure in numerical order in the text. Clearly mark the orientation of figures if necessary. Ensure that each illustration has a caption separate from the figure itself. Captions should include a brief title (not within the figure) and a description of the illustration. Limit the text within figures and explain all symbols and abbreviations. Indicate latitude and longitude on maps. Color figures, foldouts, and pocket maps can be accommodated, but the author is responsible for any additional publishing costs.

Copyrighted Material:
It is the author’s responsibility to obtain permission to reproduce figures or tables from copyrighted sources. This includes figures that have been redrawn but remain essentially unaltered or only slightly modified. If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author(s) must obtain written permission from the copyright owners and credit the sources in the article.
