Abstract

Coordination of directional over current relay in the large power system with a lot of generation bus and load bus is difficult to get the result, thus a method is needed to solve the problem. Linier programming was using to coordination over current relay in 8 bus IEEE. The result shown using linier programming in more optimal than using dual simplex method and non linier programming method. This final project using linier programming to optimal the coordination of directional over current relays in transmission line of power system Lampung. Coordination is equation are arranged to form linier equation, with TMS relay as an optimal value. Optimize coordination is obtained by minimize operating time each relay without leaving all coordination constraints beside primary relay and backup relay. The result shown operation time for coordination beside primary and backup relay is satisfy to coordination interval ( CI is 0,4 second ). Optimation method using linier programming had success to solve the coordination problem efficiency, quickly and simultaneously.
